Concrete Options

When you want freshly mixed metered concrete at your location, you need Maddox Concrete Company, Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware. We offer all types of concrete, including block, exposed aggregate or decorative concrete, and pervious concrete, which reduces runoff by allowing storm water it to seep into the ground. We also use hydraulic telescoping chutes and offer special concrete additive options.

Hydraulic Telescoping Chutes

Our hydraulic telescoping chutes are an advantage over the ordinary rear discharge chutes. Our mixer operator can place the concrete where the customer wants it without the need for a chute man. These types of chutes can swing and telescope out an additional 6' for a total reach of 18' 6". These chutes reduce the amount of wheelbarrowing and raking of concrete.

Additives

Here are some of the additives that we can add to our mix design: 
  • 1%, 2%, and 3% Calcium Chloride to Non-Calcium Chloride
  • Fibers That Protect against Cracking during Curing
  • Expansion Joints - Available on Our Trucks
  • Rapid Set

  • Concrete Strength - Strengths from 2,500 to 6,500 PSI Available

Concrete Blocks

We sell concrete blocks in two sizes: 2' x 2' x 4' and 2' x 2' x 6'. These blocks can be used: 
  • For Material Storage Bins for Sand, Stone, Topsoil, and Mulch
  • As Barriers or Roadblocks
  • To Build Temporary or Permanent Walls
